Pushing the CFPB to Take on Big Banks

The People’s Parity Project joined a coalition of nearly 20 progressive advocacy organizations in urging acting Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau David Uejio to swiftly approve a rule allowing bank customers to more readily access their personal financial data, a move that would help curb Wall Street firms’ outsized power and anti-competitive practices.
